On 14th October, all Australian citizens will vote in the Voice Referendum.
The Australian Electoral Commission will notify electors, closer to the date, of where the polling places are. Below is a guide which we will keep updated as we get closer to the referendum date.
Referendum Day
Polling places are usually open 8am – 6pm on polling day. Interim information from the Australian Electoral Commission indicates there will be polling locations, in this area, at the Seacliff Uniting Church and the Kauri Community and Sports Centre.
The Marino Community Hall is closed for demolition and will not be a voting centre on referendum day.
Therefore we can expect polling places, in the 5049 Coastal Community area to be
8am – 6pm
Saturday 14 October
Seacliff Uniting Church
Wheatland Street
8am – 6pm
Saturday 14 October
Kauri Community and Sports Centre
Lipson Avenue
Early Voting Centres
Early voting centres usually open 2 weeks before poling day. At previous federal elections we have had an early polling centre, in this area, at the Seacliff Surf Life Saving Club. We will seek to keep you updated on where the closest early voting centre will be for this referendum when this information is available.
Postal Voting
The Australian Electoral Commission will advise on when postal voting is available.
