A very successful AGM and History Night was held on 19 October 2023.
5049 Coastal Community Association makes efforts to share historical recollections of the local area. Here below you will find some stories documenting what our suburbs were like in the past.

The City of Holdfast Bay has a History and Culture Centre. You can search the Holdfast Bay History Collection, make research enquiries, purchase hi-res photographs and check out the local history and walking tours published by the Council: specifically the Self-Guided Walking Tour of Seacliff and Kingston Park is available here.
The City of Marion has theMarion Heritage Research Centre where the history and cultural heritage of Marion is collected, preserved and shared. A Coordinator and a team of volunteers also hosts a program of talks, workshops and events. Much of its time helping people with their local and family history enquiries, researching information and cataloguing and listing the holdings.
